Bettina Xue Griffin

Bettina is an advocate in corporate and commercial matters. Bettina is developing a broad practice in commercial litigation and civil litigation, including shareholder disputes, contractual issues, distributorship issues, professional liability and real estate litigation. Bettina advises clients on matters relating to commercial fraud and risk-management. She also acts for employers, directors, executives and employees with respect to employment matters. Bettina assists clients with a practical, thoughtful and detail-oriented approach to resolving disputes.
Bettina has appeared before the Toronto Commercial List, the Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Appeal.

Bettina is also passionate about innovation and start-ups. Prior to attending law school, Bettina worked at the University of Hong Kong School of Business where she co-developed a new course on the evolution of entrepreneurship. Bettina articled at McMillan LLP and obtained her J.D. from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. During law school, Bettina participated in a variety of competitive moots and received awards at both the Callaghan Memorial Moot and the Jessup International Law Moot Canadian rounds. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2017.
